Safety

We are a leading office with respect to sterilization and cleanliness of our working spaces and instruments. All of the instruments we use in treating patients, including dental hand pieces, are sterilized before use. Our autoclaves are tested and monitored regularly to ensure their effectiveness.

Our dental operatories have self-contained water systems. The water used in your treatment is distilled in-office and supplied to the operatory by pressurized bottle, thereby addressing concerns with outside water supply and bacterial contamination of the water system.

Environmental

Our office has taken a leading role in elimination of potentially harmful waste materials. Through installation of an “amalgam separator” on our dental suction system, we re-capture the metals that we remove from teeth, (including the mercury), and the waste is disposed of properly instead of being released into the sewage system. While we are certain that eventually these systems will be mandatory in our industry, at the current time they are in use only by forward thinking offices on an optional basis, at considerable expense.
